faith promise giving
SBC mission's budget is funded through Faith-Promise giving. This is an offering above the 10% tithe. A Faith Promise offering is an expression of our love to God. It is called "Faith Promise" because it is a free-will offering that we promise to give to God. It is not a pledge to the church. It is a commitment to God to support His plan for world evangelism. God will never ask us to do more than He will enable us to do.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
