What We Believe
The sole basis for our belief is the Bible.
We believe in the inspiration and inerrancy of the Bible.
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ.
We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, and that Jesus voluntarily paid for our sin by dying on the cross as our substitute. This accomplished salvation for all who will trust in Christ alone and receive the free gift of eternal life.
We believe in His bodily resurrection.
We believe in His imminent pre-millennial return to earth. We believe in the Trinity of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are one in essence but distinct in person and function.
We believe that God created man in His image, but man chose sinfulness and fell from grace. As a result, all men are sinners and must accept God's grace through Jesus Christ to be saved. We believe that lost people matter to God, and therefore, ought to matter to the church.
We believe in an eternal heaven for the saved and an eternal hell for the lost. We believe that every Christian should tithe (ten %) on their income to the Lord through the local church. Tithing on your time, talent, and tithes ought to be given back to God as an act of dedication and love to Jesus Christ. Giving to missions at home and around the world should be given above your tithes. We believe that a church is a local assembly of baptized believers, under the discipline of the Word of God; organized to carry out the Great Commission to evangelize, to teach, and to administer the ordinances of believer's baptism and the Lord's Supper.
We believe that membership is a door of opportunity and a commitment to unity. Your attendance and involvement is essential. The discovery, development, and deployment of your spiritual gifts are necessary to build a healthy body of Christ. The pursuit of full devotion to Christ and His cause is normal for every believer.
